Hello!

I'm Marie. I am a freelance artist working out of Atlanta. Expressive linework takes center stage in the majority of my work. I push up against the boundary of how chaotic my mark making can be before it becomes unpleasing and overwhelming. I regularly flirt with juxtaposition, placing unlike elements together to push the chaotic feeling that I strive for, in my pieces. I am frequently drawn to the grotesque. Monster designs and body horror make up a significant portion of my personal work. I draw a lot of my influences from the goth aesthetic, horror comics, nature, and a fascination with human anatomy and physiology. While I do have my preferences, I frequently experiment with different styles.
